Die Völkermord-Konvention spricht von Gruppen, nicht von Völkern. Von daher brauchten die Juden ihre spezielle Definition vom "jüdischen Volk" nicht durchzusetzen.Ich spreche von der UN, nicht vom Völkerbund. Der Völkerbund kannte noch keinen Völkermord. Den kannte man auch noch nicht zur Zeit der Nürnberger Prozesse. Und wenn die Juden nicht darauf bestanden hätten, daß sie ein Volk sind und sie als Volk gemordet wurden, dann gäbe es bis heute nicht den Tatbestand des Völkermords. Weder im Hinblick auf die Juden, weder im Hinblick auf die Herero, die Tutsi, die Armenier, die Kosovo-Muslime usw. usw.
Article 2 of the Convention defines genocide as
...any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
